How we look after your family's data

Saturday Edition is for children, so we keep what we collect small and we only collect it from parents and guardians.

What we collect

• When you subscribe: your name, mobile, email, your child's first name and grade, and your delivery address (society, tower, flat).
• When you send in work: your child's first name, grade and society, their words and photos of their work, and your name and contact.
• Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or UPI details.

How we use it

• To deliver the magazine and manage your subscription.
• To consider your child's work for the magazine, and to tell you if it's featured.
• We print only your child's first name, grade and (if you agree) society name. Never a surname, school, face or contact detail.
• We don't sell or share your data with advertisers. We don't show ads.

Consent and your choices

Only a parent or guardian can subscribe or send in work, and we ask for your consent each time. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent for future printing, by writing to hello@saturdayedition.in. We delete submissions we don't use within 12 months.

Where it's kept

On secure, encrypted Amazon Web Services storage in India (Mumbai region). Only the Saturday Edition team can access it.
